Question 1

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve residential customers across the metro Atlanta area. Not sure if you're in range? Call 470-232-3651 and we'll let you know.

Question 2

Are you licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ember & Iron carries general liability coverage and operates as a licensed handyman / owner operator. Proof of insurance available on request before any job.

Question 3

How does the deposit work?

Accepted Answer

Only HVAC servicing ($75) and skid steer jobs ($275) require a deposit to reserve your slot. Every deposit is applied 100% to your final invoice. Other services have no deposit — you only pay when the work is done.

Question 4

Is my deposit refundable?

Accepted Answer

Yes — for HVAC and skid steer bookings, your deposit is fully refundable up to 24 hours before the scheduled date. After that we hold the deposit to cover crew time already committed.

Question 5

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

All deposits and final invoices are paid securely on the site via Stripe — credit/debit, Apple Pay and Google Pay supported. You'll get a receipt by email automatically.

Question 6

How soon can you start?

Accepted Answer

Most non-emergency jobs are scheduled within the same week. HVAC and roof issues during storms are triaged first — call us directly for same-day service.

Question 7

Do you give free estimates?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Standard handyman jobs are quoted from your booking details and photos. Larger HVAC, roof, and skid steer jobs may require a quick on-site walk-through, also free.

Question 8

What if something isn't right after the job?

Accepted Answer

Tell us within 7 days and we'll come back to make it right at no charge. Our reputation is built one neighbor at a time.
